Title:
A Little Treasure - Framed Assemblage

Handcrafted in the Scottish Borders

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, pieces may vary slightly to those shown in photographs.

This proud mother bird created from copper sheet and china fragments dotes over her precious pretty egg in it's nest of silver brass and copper wire with china fragment sprigs of blossom around, it is coated in crystalline verdigris. The assemblage is mounted and signed on acid free off white card in a cream contemporary style open grain wooden box frame, 230mm x 280mm.

Wild bird eggs can have such beautiful patterned shells, the one used in the assemblage is painstakingly painted by a gentleman in England who makes replica wild eggs for collectors and enthusiasts as it is quite rightly illegal to collect the real things.
